Attention Film Buffs!

The Adrian G. Marcuse Library has two (newer) databases to feed the your film buff souls. In the last year, we have added Mango Languages and Kanopy to our database collection.

Mango Languages features foreign films that also allow you to learn a language at the same time! They feature films from the following countries: Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish (ESL), and Spanish (Latin America).

Kanopy offers a broad selection of streaming films, documentaries, and training videos. They continually update their offerings. Some of their most popular films & collections include: VideoFashion, Miss Representation, Metropolis, Grey Gardens, Before Stonewall, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest.

These two databases can be accessed from anywhere using the myLIM portal and your LIM College log-in information. Check them out today!
