China: Through the Looking Glass

If you missed your chance to see the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibit “China: Through the Looking Glass,” which was on display until September 7, 2015.  This exhibit explored the influences of Chinese culture and aesthetics on Western fashion. According to the Met, there were more than 140 haute couture and ready-to-wear pieces on view (www.metmuseum.org). With this extensive collection including art, film, paintings, and porcelains, there was plenty to see and learn about Chinese history and fashion.
