Adrian G. Marcuse Library Closed Over Labor Day Weekend

The Adrian G. Marcuse Library & LIM College will be closed Friday, September 4 & Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. We will re-open at 7:30am on Tuesday, September 8.

We hope everyone has a relaxing and safe holiday weekend!

The New and Improved Library

Welcome to the Fall 2015 semester! Hopefully you are adjusting to being back into the swing of school and are finding your way around LIM College. If you find yourself around the library this semester, stop by to see some of our new features.
First, we have set up great new seating in the magazine room. The chairs and tables are on wheels so they are light and easy to move. If you are working on a project in a big group, feel free to move them together. If you are working individually, you can do that too. If you remember the heavy chairs from last semester, this is a big improvement! If you come within the next few weeks, be sure to check out the September issues of all your favorite magazines.

Additionally, we have a new scanner in the first computer lab. It is much easier to use than our previous scanner. You can even email documents straight to your account, upload them to a USB drive or download them on your phone. You also don’t have to take up an extra computer when using the scanner since everything can be done using this new device.
Of course, we have new material including a book titled, The Fifty Fashion Designers That Changed the World by Lauren Cochrane.

Stop by soon and check out all of these new features of the library!
