Two New Databases Available for Use

The Adrian G. Marcuse Library now subscribes to Emerald Insight: The CASE Journal and Emerald Insight: Emerging Markets Case Studies Collection. These two databases are wonderful when researching company case studies. You can access them via the Library website. For more information on each individual database, please see the descriptions below:

Emerald Insight: The CASE Journal [Case Studies] [Business]
The CASE Association is one of the most prominent case study organizations in the USA and has strong foundations within the case writing community. TCJ is the official journal of The CASE Association and the leading, online, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal featuring factual teaching cases and case exercises spanning the full spectrum of business and management disciplines.

Emerald Insight: Emerging Markets Case Studies Collection [Case Studies] [Business] [Emerging Markets]
Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies (EEMCS) is an online collection of peer-reviewed case studies focusing on business decision making and management development throughout key global emerging markets. Cases are written by case writers working in or closely with developing economies, offering local perspectives with global appeal.

Winter Wonderland

It’s that time of year again! Winter break is upon us, which means relaxation (or just no school) for us here at LIM College. This downtime calls for some good reads that will keep you company while you cozy up in bed (or the break room). Listed below are some of the favorite books read by our library-goers.

814.6 MED
A classic favorite for LIM College staff and students, this book follows Leandra Medine’s journey from childhood to adulthood and renowned blogger. Learn what it takes to start a blog, and be sure you are ready to laugh a lot because this girl is a riot!

818.6 OAK
This is a fairly new addition to the college’s library, but it is worth the read. Tyler Oakley is a famous YouTube sensation who has written a book about his whirlwind life. It is sure to make you laugh, the perfect pick for break!

790.2 FEY
One of my all-time favorite books, Tina Fey masters the art of telling her story in a bold and hilarious way. She shares her stories of her own childhood, her career, and her own grown up life. It is worth a read!

All of these books are available to be checked out at LIM College’s Adrian G. Marcuse Library.
